Kashy vs Yung Musky

If you've been following along on Facebook, a young artist named Yung Musky (who has an uncanny resemblance to MCC's own Nate Millyunz), has started an online beef with our homie Kashy. I don't know who this cat is, but his shit-talking has been on 100 since the two came in contact about a month ago.

In an attempt to silence the troll, Kashy released a diss track called Fish Outta Water, aimed at Yung Musky. However it didn't take long for Musky to respond with a diss of his own called Chum in the Water. Listen to both track below and YOU decide who is the superior species.

After long hiatus, Reed Benjamin releases 'Life Finds a Way'

It's finally here. Reed Benjamin has released his first project in nearly 4 years. The southside spitter has put out what is easily his best work to date. Never has he been more vulnerable, personable, or all around impressive with his rhymes. Collaborating with Minnesota producers like Major G,, and DJ Chris Crave, Reed set out to release a 5-song EP. But a flame was lit, and it led to a full 11-track album.

Reed himself has said that this is his best piece of work to date.

Join us tonight at Day Block Brewing Company for a very special edition of Bars+Brews (a Day Block/MCC residency) where we will celebrate the release of Life Finds a Way. Other performers include Nathan Ejuwa, Major G, Po Etikit, Darren Sippity and lent of special guests.
